Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 419984.
Lamp post was knocked down in December 24, leaving it hanging over my driveway. Engineers came out, basically chopped it in half, wrapped it in security tape and left. Over the past 3 months the remaining 4ft has tulted over and is now very loose in the ground. Looking at the report which was made, states no further actuion needed. Seriously ?? No lighting and a broken remains hanging over property line.

3 more months have passed and i have not received any contact from any engineer. This needs to be addressed ASAP as its a health and safety issue with the post still being live. The post is now further hanging over my property and now struggle to park my van on my own driveway. I have 2 children in my household who have learning difficulties and they would think nothing of it given the chance to lean against it or worse. This was first reported back in I October 2024 and i can’t understand why in over 8 months it has not been replaced or even removed completely. At this point i’m close to raising a claim through my solicitor if this isn’t dealt with swiftly.
Yours Sincerely
