On February 11th I recieved a 2nd emailed report claiming the litter has been cleared by your contractors. However, the litter still remains along the road and in the hedgerows on Slapton Road and is particularly bad going up the hill as Slapton Road narrows from Gypsy Lane up to the gated entrance of Spring Meadow Farm. There is a white plastic bag dangling from the hedgerow that has been there for at least 6mths. Hundreds of fast food packaging, tin cans, bottles, plastic bags and other rubbish several layers deep in the hedgerow and along the side of the road. Your contractors appear to have not cleared this stretch of Slapton Road.
I look forward to the road being clear of litter.
Would it be possible to have large, easy to read 'Littering is a Criminal Offence - £2,500 fine' signs placed at regular intervals along Slapton Road to help prevent littering.

All along Mill Road and Slapton Road, through Little Billington to the B440 junction
An enormous amount of fast food litter, plastic bags, cans and bottles thrown from passing cars, strewn along the road and STUCK IN THE HEDGEROW, between the junction of Mill Road and Slapton Road. Particularly bad littering around Gipsey Lane towards Little Billington. It is an eyesore and a disgrace. The litter is increasing on a daily basis since August 2024.
I recieved the following email from your offices on 5th February... the litter has NOT been cleared from the road edge or the hedgerows as described above.
Please kindly advise when this is to be cleared.
