Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420104.
There seems to be an increased number of accidents round this junction and I had a near miss last night and had concerns prior. The issue is that the road markings on the edge of the road are not visible - I pulled out some time ago and had to give a wide berth as when dark you cannot see the edge of the road and when someone was pulling in last night couldn't see the edge did a similar thing slammed on their brake as there was a car coming the other way - if you just repaint the road markings I think this will solve most of the issues. Obviously there are less in the summer when it is lighter later.
