7 to 9 Greenfield way

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 15:50, Wednesday 5 March 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420120.

Tree overhangs private property.... Due to recent climate changes, there is a risk of branches falling, which could pose a danger to people and property. Additionally, birds resting in the tree are causing excessive droppings, creating a hygiene concern where children play and potentially damaging parked vehicles.

For safety and cleanliness, I kindly ask for this tree to be assessed and trimmed at your earliest convenience.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Central Bedfordshire Council at 15:50, Wednesday 5 March 2025

  • Hi - our GIS shows that we have not adopted the grass verges here. We only maintain the road width and footpath widths. The land will likely still be owned by Grand Union Housing (Now 'Amplius'). They will need to be contacted if there are tree concerns.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
