Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420422.

Large damaged road edge forming dangerous pot hole with sharp edge and significant depth and length. There are two of these on this stretch of road. Significant risk to cyclists, motorcycles and all vehicles of forced to drive to edge of road when heading towards Cambridge.

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
