Blind bend on Harlington Raod nr Red House / Grange Farm
Reported via desktop in the Signs category anonymously at 20:13, Wed 12 March 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420474.
This is a dangerous blind bend for pedestrians using the road to link multiple footpaths and bridle ways. It is made even more dangerous as the road has to be crossed at the worst blind spot. The speed limit needs to be reduced to 20mph and signs installed warning that pedestrians may be on, and crossing, the road. Thank you.

Please can you provide an update on how this dangerous route for walkers is being made safer. Nothing has changed there since I reported the danger several months ago. We walk there regularly and have to face the same dangers on this double blind bend each time. There are posts already in place warning of other dangers which could be used for a "Pedestrians in Road" warning and a 20mph speed restriction possibly with speed bumps.
