Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420558.

There is no street lights and a few cars have been broken in to in the past the last light got removed years ago as got damaged we have asked so many times can this be replaced as many are concerned of safty

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.

    We already have an order to replace column 6 located outside of number 20 St James Close .
    We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP). We hope this will be completed very soon.

    If other streetlights in the close are not working, please let us know by indicating the column number ID or a photo in another FixMyStreet report.

    We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    We apologise for the length of time this has taken to be replaced.
