Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420616.
We have a tree that is on the pavement outside of our house that has grown so much that it is overhanging our driveway extensively. The issues that this causes is that it creates a shadow on the front our house causing it to be colder at the front of the house. The birds that nest on the tree deficate onto our driveway and to our vehicles and not only does it cause mess that we have to walk through, as well as looking awful but it causes damage to the paintwork of our vehicles.
In the autumn and winter months the volume of leaves that cover our driveway and cars is unmanageable. Equally when it is windy I worry about broken branches falling onto the cars. In the spring the sap from the tree drips onto the cars and causes a sticky residue that has to be frequently washed off.
This has been an ongoing issue for the last 3 years
I would ask that whilst the tree has no leaves that it be cut back so that it does not overhang our property please. It is the largest tree on our street and others have been pruned previously and in some cases removed, therefore to request for it to be cut back seems reasonable
