  • Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately this issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, however, we have forwarded this report to our Customer Services Team, and requested it is passed to Rights of Way within Central Bedfordshire Council.

    Many thanks,

  • Hi. This would be for the landowner to clear. We will contact them and ask them to deal with it. With public rights of way, the Council is only responsible for vegetation growing from the surface of paths such as nettles, brambles etc.. Landowners are responsible for trees and hedges which form land boundaries or are land features rather than access.

Category changed from ‘Trees’ to ‘Public Rights of way’
