Regent Street box junction
Reported via Android in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 09:01, Wed 19 March 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420749.
NOTE: Originally reported on 15 June 2024. Council ref: 408128 The case was repeatedly closed as was told it was not a priority, but would feature in future lining works. This hasn't happened and now the yellow hatched box junction markings are almost completely worn away. Vehicles can no longer turn right due to this and its gridlocking the area needlessly. Can the markings please be repainted ASAP.

Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP).We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
Many thanks,
