Walkway between Eagle Farm Road and Wensum Grove Biggleswade

Reported via mobile in the Trees category anonymously at 19:51, Thursday 20 March 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420836.

A number of trees have been hacked down and left, presumably by authorised contractors and there are metal fences strewn around. This all happened before Christmas, the whole area looks awful and needs to be tidied up. Goodness known what the birds and badgers have made of it. There is a sett in the area.

  • Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately this issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, however, we have forwarded this report to our Customer Services Team, and requested it is passed to CBC Assets within Central Bedfordshire Council.

*Apologies if not Assets, GIS suggests it's within CBC Assets land but may not be managed by us. Area in question is not Highways owned/adopted besides the width of the surfaced footpath.

    Many thanks,
    Central Bedfordshire Council Highways
