Outside Henlow car garage- Clifton Road

Reported via mobile in the Kerbs category anonymously at 14:31, Friday 21 March 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 420890.

The cars that the garage park are on double yellow lines causing danger for us when pulling out our road. They park on the grass verges so restrict our view of the oncoming traffic. The business is the car garage that also run carers support from upstairs as well as a tattooist, so as I’m sure you can imagine there are lots of cars parked.

My issue is with them parking on the grass verge outside our driveway. One it’s being churned up causing a mud bath and secondly it causes us to have no visibility when pulling out on the road. I’ve had a couple of near misses pulling out my driveway, when the cars come shooting round off the roundabout towards the parked cars.

I have been over and spoken to them in the past about this but having seen a couple of recent Facebook post of Clifton page.

This is going to cause a serious accident. The yellow lines are being made ignored & need to run further down.

This has been going on for months now.

This report is now closed to updates from the public. You can make a new report in the same location.
