Damaged man hole cover in the road. Luton Road close to Allenby Avenue junction
Reported via Android in the Road Surface category anonymously at 02:50, Tue 1 April 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 421364.
Manhole cover is broken and is making a very loud noise each time a vehicle drives over it (which is often being the main Luton Road into Dunstable).
I'm concerned as the noise is keeping nearby residents awake at night and also the danger to vehicles being damaged or pedestrians crossing and a trip hazard.
This issue must have been for at least a month now.
