121/123 Clophill Road, Maulden MK45 2AE
Reported via Android in the Kerbs category by Mr Stephen R J Fowler at 10:38, Wednesday 2 April 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 421427.
The kerbs (and dropped kerbs for both entrances) are missing outside 121 and 123 Clophill Road. All other properties along the road have kerbs. The need to reinstate kerbs has arisen because of the council's decision to allow the ground level height to be raised on the pig field opposite to facilitate building of the new estate on the field. Clophill Road floods regularly at this point and raising the ground level of the field has put our properties at danger of flooding. When planning permission was granted for the field, we were assured the field level would not be raised. We assume this permission has been retrospectively allowed. Please reinstate the kerbs on our side of the road to help protect against this.
