13 Liscombe Road

Reported via iOS in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 19:48, Wednesday 2 April 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 421453.

I am writing to formally report the severely damaged pavement and kerb outside 13 Liscombe Road. The pavement tiles are cracked and raised, creating a serious trip hazard. Several people have already sustained injuries due to tripping over the uneven surface.

Additionally, the damaged kerb has caused vehicle tyres to pop when pulling into the driveway, leading to unnecessary costs and stress for residents.

This poses both a safety risk and a financial burden, so I urge you to address this issue as a priority. Please confirm when repairs will be scheduled.

I look forward to your prompt response.

Thanks Idhnan

  • Thank you for your Highways report.
An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)

We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
