    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.

    I just received an email from FixMyStreet regarding a report I made, and it appears you don't categorise this as high enough priority, ref 421919.
    There have already been 2 minor collisions here I am aware of, and if the council are prepared to pay out for damage to tyres and suspension in order that you can avoid expenditure and ignore your statutory duty, then you need to at the very least install a semi permanent hazard warning.
