Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 421941.

The pavement is all tarmac and is crumbling to leave loose areas of surface with loose tarmac which creates areas on which it is easy to slide or trip.

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
