Extremely High and Unstable Trees on Sundon Road

Reported via desktop in the Hazardous or dead tree category anonymously at 10:00, Wednesday 16 April 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 421973.

Between Wood Farm and the Brambles Avenue, there are a series of high trees lining the road which are increasingly unstable. I have noticed several large branches falling off in the wind over the last few months, and can see these trees are unbalanced and at risk of falling in windy conditions. I’m concerned at the damage this could potentially cause to road users, nearby housing and notably the cable that runs parallel with the tree line. Please could you look into this to see if there is a way ensuring these trees can be better managed to prevent any damage occurring? There does not appear to be any birds nesting in these trees. Thank you.
