The pavement has been in a terrible state for a long time and needs repairing. There are numerous holes and trip hazards. There have already been two injuries caused by people tripping and falling, one resulting in a hospital visit. Please get this area resurfaced promptly to prevent further injuries to pedestrians.

We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspxAfter inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair.
