Reported via desktop in the Surface water on Highway category anonymously at 15:31, Thursday 1 May 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 422512.
Water has been exiting this newly created access to a recently created woodland area on past agricultural land and since its creation 3 yrs ago has been causing differing amounts of surface water upon Upton end with no where for it to exit the road surface causing a dangerous situation for drivers and an issue with potential flooding of some lower placed properties. The owner of this land and creator of this unnecessary entrance needs to address this issue and take responsibility for the problem caused which even in the dried weather continues to run into the highway.
