Exit from Partridge Piece beside the newly seeded verge
Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 11:55, Friday 2 May 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 422543.
It's deeper than it looks on the photo. It is just where cars should be driving close to the curb as they exit Partridge Piece but instead you have to swing out to avoid it. Caused by the disruption when Virgin Media were being installed and the newly seeded verge was used to pile all the broken tarmac and soil on the verge and the dumper trucks were going all over the area. Most of the potholes that have been repaired in the area have had to been done repeatedly because they are rarely correctly sealed and this is costing the Council a lot of money and the contractors are probably laughing all the way to the bank!
