B655 Hitchin road, just before the layby, opposite the mph sign that is still standing.

Reported via Android in the Signs category anonymously at 14:23, Tuesday 6 May 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 422639.

Approx w3w location. ///table.stocks.trend This is almost directly opposite the mph sign on the other side of the road, but further back into the vegetation and slightly close to Pegsdon. Opposite side of the road to the layby, a sign has been knocked down. Reported it last year but your crew couldn't locate it. You'll probably need to cut back the vegetation to find it. I think it's the sign that tells people they are entering a 40mph zone for the village of Pegsdon, or it could be the warning sign for the turning ahead.
