Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 422728.

The sign near to WHSmith off of Eyncourt Rd that states Luton / Bedford which is a directional sign needs to be replaced as it's literally rusting away and this has been raised by the Management Property Team on a walkaround survey ..can this pleased be replaced as it definitely needed

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
