Broken BT cover

Reported via mobile in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 16:08, Wed 14 May 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 422983.

Due to residents and visitors to Sandhills continually mounting the kerb in their vehicles at grebe drive to pass traffic they have weakened this cover. The surrounding cement work is broken and loose to the point my child tipped off her scooter. Please fix accordingly.

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Central Bedfordshire Council at 16:08, Wed 14 May 2025

  • Large parts of cement surround now missing and there is a deep hole surrounding manhole cover. (Parts missing are scattered down Grebe Dr). Dangerous for small children who could loose their footing and for those who are partially sighted. I reported this in May CBC did not attend, nor fix. Someone needs to actually site visit this to see how bad the damage is and repair
