Bedford Road, Barton le Clay was resurfaced 2024 but a drain near me on the road has sunken to a depth that traffic cannot help but drive on it . The noise is really loud and if you’re next to it when it happens it makes you jump and dogs walking become very scared . I live close to this and the traffic is quite busy so the residents and shops are getting this awful clunking noise all day and night . It’s been well over a year now and I think we have put up with this for long enough. Please could you send a highway agent out to inspect and hopefully get it repaired as soon as possible. Another customer called regarding this report. Customer advised that this is very dangerous for drivers and cyclists.

This has been picked up by inspector and works are planned but cannot give specific date at this time.

We already have maintenance work planned in for this area and the issue will be resolved as part of this work.
