Hi there. Thank you for your report. This path is on our annual grass cutting contract but as we have a limited budget and can only do 2 grass cuts per year, the first cut will not be until the end of May/June at the earliest. In some parishes, we have local volunteers who help us maintain the public rights of way network -https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 82/ countryside/ 433/ countryside_volunteers - if you are interested, please get in touch as there is not currently a group in Maulden. It would be useful if you could provide photos so we can see what you mean by "subsiding" - substantial revetment work was done here a few years ago so it would be concerning if this is not working.

I have carried out a site visit and temporarily closed the path. We did some revetment work at the beginning of the path in 2022 but this was capital budget funded. This year's capital schemes list is full but we will consider it for a future year's plan.
