Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423265.
4 years ago I requested the removal of two sycamore trees growing close to my outside fence and home alongside Rectory Lane. My home is 15 East Hills. They were cut down but roots were not removed and trees have since grown back strongly causing significant issues. Their roots are damaging my newly installed fence, which I had replaced last year at considerable expense, and will begin to spread underneath my house. Given the ongoing damage and potential long term structural impact, I kindly ask that the trees and roots be removed completely this time to prevent further problems. I greatly appreciate your help.

Hi - i've been asking around and looking into this as I've only recently taken on this area. According to Land Registry and our mapping, this is not land that CBC own/have adopted. The work that was undertaken 4 years ago was carried out by the Forest of Marston Vale after meeting with Rights of Way and the Parish Council. I'd advise contacting the Parish Council or Marston Vale. In the meantime, under common law you are entitled to prune back any vegetation that encroaches onto or damages your property.
