Street Lamp No 24

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423300.

Please can you confirm what the equipment is that has been attached to this lamp post 12' away from my bedroom window. The light continuously flashes throughout the night and I find it extremely intrusive. I am unsure why this lamp post has been used when Number 25 does not affect any houses at all and is a good distance away not to intrude in our daily activities.

    The equipment is an aerial for our CMS (Central Management System) to control and report on the street lights in the area that have a compatible lanterns, this is so we can get reports for their energy / report to us if they are not working and let us control them remotely, we will have around 135 of these stations (Gateways) throughout CBC area,
