There is a broken cover on a drain which is now a trip hazard,

  • It is actually Wood Street which is the 10 yards further South to the drive to the Saracen's Head. I think it is a water inspection cover that has broken leaving an 8inch round hole big enough to step into (with small feet).

  • The other report that has been raised for this defect says it has been fixed. That isn't the case. The cover is still missing and the hole is still a significant hazard for walkers and cyclists.

  • The drain hole now has a sandbag stuffed into it. This is now a considerable trip hazard. It needs a proper fix.
