I contacted you back in April 2025 regards a blocked gully outside my houseyou said that its due a routine check anytime now. Its raining today and the gully is still blocked and flooding the majority of cars slow down and drive around some like to give you a good soaking. My main worry is it coming in underneath my front door could this please be cleaned as a matter of urgency now.

  • Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. We have assessed this location and have established that there is an issue with the drainage system. The gullies themselves are running clear - the issue is that water pools in the area where there are no gully lids present. We have instructed a drainage engineer to carry out a detailed investigation and to prioritise any necessary repairs for funding and our 5 year capital drainage programme.
