Crossroads Hitchin Street, Saffron Road, Teal Road

Reported via Android in the Lamp Failure category by M Thorn at 22:13, Sat 7 June 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423854.

The traffic lights controlling traffic coming from Langford along Hitchin Street is completely obscured by the tree growing in front of it.

The photo is taken from Hitchin Street. The traffic light just showing in the photo is the one controlling traffic on Saffron Rd. Can you see the lights controlling Hitchin Street traffic? No, neither can I!

Apparently it was green when the photo was taken. It has been getting steadily worse over recent weeks and the lights are unlikely to be visible again until the autumn.

Please arrange to cut back the tree as soon as possible.

Many thanks
