Station Road pavement, Coopers Hill side

Reported via iOS in the Pavement and Cycle path category anonymously at 18:05, Tuesday 10 June 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 423972.

The sleepers along the coopers hill side of Station Road are in a bad state of disrepair. There are currently 2 sleepers that have fallen off recently and many more that are bowing, sticking out and looking very unstable. This is footpath used by many school children from the Firs and Alameda schools and the current state of the sleepers is dangerous and should be addressed quickly to avoid anyone getting injured. I originally raised this as a problem in April 2024 and since then the problem and state of the sleepers has only got worse. When there is lots of rain the mud slides of Coopers Hill and destabilises the sleepers.
