Large tree on corner of pathway next to the boundary line of the school mobile unit
Reported via desktop in the Overhanging private property category anonymously at 14:25, Fri 13 June 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 424112.
The tree has been unmanaged and grown very tall. Branches dangerously overhang the Reception class (EYFS) playground and touch the outdoor covered areas. Debry constantly fills gutters and covers internal pathways making it very slippery when wet.

Update on your report:
We have inspected the tree in question, and have identified works to carry out. While we won't be reducing the height, we will be lifting the canopy to around 5.2m - this will remove all branches currently touching the building, however branches still overhang. Leaf drop causing slip isn't something that would fit our criteria to heavily reduce or cut a tree back, however the work we have planned in will aleviate some of the reported issues. We'll also be raising the canopy of the
cherry tree adjacent to the larger tree. At current we cannot provide an exact date for the works, but we expect completion within a couple of months. Many thanks,
