The huge weeds on the left-hand-side steps and pavement are now increasingly overgrown + make the footpath difficult to use, particularly for myself who is disabled with mobility issues, prams + wheelchairs. The steps and pavement are extremely uneven, I have had 3 nasty falls out here due to this and use a walking aid daily.

  • Thank you for submitting your Highways report.
    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
