Cover is now loose causing loud disturbance day and night as traffic passes over it. Hence local residents are being disturbed 24 hours a day. This problem has been in existence for a while but as it worsens the noise is becoming intolerable. Please fix as a priority.

An order has now been raised to rectify the identified issue and this will now be added to our programme of works. We are, unfortunately, unable to provide you with a timescale for this work to be completed, however, all repairs are prioritised using an assessment matrix in line with our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP)We will continue to monitor all defects to ensure the safety of our residents as part of the NMMP which can be found online - http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx
