The storm drain outside my house is blocked with a lot of leaves. Every time it rains the drain overflows whilst other drains on the same street drain normally. The attached photo shows the drain on the opposite side of the road draining well whilst the drain closest to us overflows. This leaves a lake of dirty water which is sprayed all over our house every time a car passes. Please could someone unblock this drain?

    We are having to prioritise repairs for defects that pose higher risks in accordance with our Network Management Maintenance Plan assessment criteria, the details of which can be found online http://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ transport/ roads-strategies/ highways-asset-management.aspx

    After inspecting the reported issue, our engineers have determined that this doesn't currently feature as a priority for repair. Rest assured, we'll continue to monitor the defect during future inspections. We appreciate your understanding and thank you for your report.
