Reported via desktop in the Obstructing visibility, footway, road, or sign category anonymously at 10:52, Tue 8 July 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425065.

As you can see the hedge is massively overgrown forcing cars onto the other side of the road to pass, it is also on a footpath obscuring the view for pedestrians to safely cross

Updates

  • State changed to: Investigating

Updated by Central Bedfordshire Council at 10:52, Tue 8 July 2025

  • Having checked our GIS - the land on the South side of Browns Way is under the ownership of Aspley Guise Parish Council. We have adopted a small strip of land along the side of the road, approx 1.2m, however the hedge is rooted further away and within the Town Council land and has grown onto the strip of land, and Highway. We can contact the Town Council to request this is actioned.

    Many thanks
    Central Bedfordshire Council

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
