Hockliffe Road from A5 to Tebworth

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425207.

Almost the entire length of the pavement is in a poor state of repair and difficult to walk along in places. Grass is growing over the surface from the verge and through the tarmac. Are there any plans to resurface or improve in the near future?

    After inspecting the reported issue, our officers have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.

    With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
