On the right as you turn into Gresham Way

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425244.
There is a tree that is overgrown. It overhangs the footpath and the road and causes issues for both pedestrians and drivers. The tree is never maintained. Can it be removed? It is also raising the footpath with the roots causing a trip hazard.

Update on your report:
I can confirm that this location is included on our long term programme of works, and this issue will be addressed as part of those works. Timescales for these schemes will be be published in due course.
We do not have plans to remove the tree, as the tree itself is healthy, however we do intend to tidy the tree up, remove all the lower growth, and lift the canopy over the path and road. Many thanks,
Central Bedfordshire Council - Highways
