Reported via desktop in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 15:55, Thu 17 July 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425399.

Dear Sirs

We are the Managing Agents for St Johns Court in Biggleswade SG18 0DW. We have been contacted by one of the owners to say that the Council have done some work near their car park entrance - mostly around the pavement and curbing but that you have left some red markings on the ground near the entrance. Please can you let us know what these markings signify, does this mean you intend to return at a later date to do further work? Please see attached photo.

We have been in touch with the Council concerning these potholes in the past and set out below our email dated 2 September 2024. The potholes have become worse since that email and please comment on whether the Council are set to carry out works or minded to do so in the future.

Dear Sirs

We are the managing agents for the above site.

We refer to previous email and telephone conversation with you concerning the potholes at the site.

In June of this year we have a telephone note that the Council, although monitoring the potholes are not planning any remedial works in the near future.

We continue to receive requests from residents at the site concerned about the potholes and look forward to receipt of confirmation from you whether your stance on the potholes remains the same.

Your early reply would be appreciated.

Kind regards.
