Shortmead street, next to the drain on the road by the curb opposite Elphick court, outside Medivet.
Reported via mobile in the Road Potholes category anonymously at 18:26, Thu 17 July 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425407.
This was a pothole this morning. It then got fixed, they dug it up, and put new tarmac there. 2 hours later, a new pothole has already formed, seemingly the tarmac was not dry enough when traffic cones were taken away and cars have been welcomed to drive over it again. It literally took less than two hours for this to form once it was laid. There is debris all over the pavement and road around it. Also, that drain is blocked and floods when it rained after this was done too. The workmen also left the a broken traffic cone outside Medivet by the bins, please take this. Thanks.
