The storm drain on the road outside our house is completely blocked with leaves and other debris. Every time it rains (even slightly) filthy water overflows from the drain and forms a lake in the road which in heavy rain also goes all over the pavement. Then every time a car passes our house, filthy water is splashed all over our house. The dirty water also goes all over pedestrians and makes it difficult for us to leave our own home. I have attached photos to show the blocked storm drain and also the storm drain on the other side of the road to show that other drains cope just fine with the current rainfall and it's just the one outside our house which is blocked. This issue has been going on for years. We keep reporting it and nothing effective has been done. The council has a statutory duty to unblock storm drains. If this problem isn't fixed promptly I will have to raise a formal complaint because this situation is completely unacceptable.
