Road surface has deteriorated. Has been reported many times before. Centre of road surface has raised coupled with dips where car tyres drive resulting in centre of road damaging underside of vehicles. Some cars cannot physically drive up the road now.

  • Unfortunately at this present time after our officers inspected this area we have determined that this doesn't currently qualify as a priority for repair. We will continue to monitor the defect during future inspections and carry out works should it meet our intervention levels in future.

    With over 1,400km of road to maintain across Central Bedfordshire, we have to prioritise the work we do as detailed in our Network Maintenance Management Plan (NMMP), which can be viewed on the following page of our website https://www.centralbedfordshire.gov.uk/ info/ 55/ transport_roads_and_parking/ 592/ roads_strategies
