Pedestrian underpass linking Campton Road to Greenwy under A507

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425737.

Manhole cover over underpass pump system missing thus leaving the large soakaway tank open to public access. This tank is at least 3m deep and is full of water to within a foot of the opening. The missing cover is large (approx 1.2m x 0.8m) so would have been heavy so difficult to transport and I suspect it may have been dropped into the tank. As aminimum barriers need erecting around the opening ASAP.
