Lack of lane markings at signalised junction

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 10:26, Fri 1 August 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 425929.

At the signalised junction of Billington Road with Kestrel Way and Theedway, there are no road markings or lane indicators. Vehicles turning left (into Theedway) and right (into Kestrel Way) block each other’s line of sight. Drivers are unclear on who has priority, which creates confusion, delays, and near misses. Proper lane markings or directional arrows would greatly improve safety and clarity at this junction.
