The entrance to Woodlands caravan Park (GRT)
Reported via desktop in the Obstructing visibility, footway, road, or sign category anonymously at 16:38, Wednesday 13 August 2025
Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 426344.
The verges, hedgerows and trees are VERY overgrown either side of the entrance to Woodlands Caravan Park, particularly in front of the site sign and this impacts on visibility when leaving the site. Dunton Lane is a very fast road and used a lot by traffic as people cut across, often using it as a shortcut to get onto the A1, the site entrance is of course used by all the residents to get to and from their homes so if this could be cut back and made safe it would be appreciated.

Update on your report:
Thank you for contacting us. Unfortunately this issue does not come under the responsibility of our Highways Department, we have passed this report to the relevant service within Central Bedfordshire Council to investigate. Environmental Services - trees and hedges seem ok from the entrance, the main issue restricting visibility is grass.
Many thanks,
Central Bedfordshire Council Highways.
