Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 426554.

I previously reported this Nov 23, the action was just closed without doing anything about the situation. Please re paint the lines and erect road signs to display single roads

  • Thank you for contacting us with information relating to a Highways issue. Requests for speed limit changes/traffic calming will be reviewed and prioritised accordingly against all other requests across the county. We do not alter speed limits based on the perception of an issue. Requests will be reviewed based on a number of factors including collision history and independent traffic volume and speed counts over a 7 day, 24 hour period, along with meeting suitability with DfT guidance and prioritised accordingly. Should the request meet all the criteria it may be added to the Capital Works Programme for future years.
