Biggleswade Town Bowls Club entrance requesting road signage to keep entrance clear

Reported via desktop in the Road markings and lining category anonymously at 17:53, Thursday 21 August 2025

Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 426628.

Biggleswade Town Bowls Club entrance in Glebe Road has clear guidance stating that the entrance is in constant use, but we constantly have challenges with vehicles parking in front or partically in the entrance which limits the view for public and children safety. The double gates are in constant use with our 60 plus members, members of the public, visiting clubs in and outside the county and our fabulous green keeping team. The club is attempting to improve its safety responsiblities and are asking the highway team if we can have road signage to keep the entrance clear. The club realises that there will be a cost involved, I am more thaan happy to discuss this matter further to prgress this request. Sue Thompson Club Secretary Mobile: 07766212288
