Sent to Central Bedfordshire Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8070680.

The bridleway becomes a footpath at the edge of the wood. The approach to the metal gate is surrounded by knee high stinging nettles.

As you come out of the wood to continue along the footpath there is a large tree fallen across the path. No easy way around, so have to climb over it.

Updates

  • Thank you for your report. This path is not on our grass cutting contract and so an officer will have to visit to clear the nettles. Trees and fallen trees would be down to the landowner to clear rather than the Council and so we will contact them to ask them to remove the obstruction. Thank you for letting us know about these issues.
