Every time there is any significant rain fall the drainage system is unable to cope. This results in the road being flooded and cars have to drive incredibly slowly to get through. This is a very busy road so it causes congestion. It is also a significant health and safety risk to both pedestrians and drivers. Can this please be looked into with some urgency.

As part of our gully cleaning programme we inspect and clear all 45,000 gullies over a three-year period, with vulnerable gullies cleaned annually.
